Event Description

Three 2-day modules with practice, review and coaching activity between the modules.

LIM’s Team Coach Certification Program (TCCP®) is intended as an in-house program for individuals who wish to gain an in-depth understanding of team coaching using LIM’s ARL® (Action Reflection Learning) principles, processes and tools and embed them in you organization. The participants will apply their skills as Team Coaches with their own teams and with their Business Partner’s teams.

Program Outcomes

By the end of the program, the participants will have:

  1. Practiced the role of a Team Coach in their own HR Leadership Team and their clients’ teams and received feedback on their performance
  2. Applied ARL® practices, concepts and tools in their own organization, exchanged those experiences with colleagues, and received feedback on how to implement improvements
  3. Applied Team Coaching, Power Coaching and Peer Coaching inside their own organization
  4. Discovered the mindset of a Team Coach
  5. Explored the personal values, assumptions and mindsets that enhance the role of a Team Coach
  6. Deepened their self-awareness
  7. Identified key factors for designing learning interventions
  8. Designed a learning intervention
  9. Mastered basic ARL® concepts and tools
  10. Received feedback from their LIM coaches
  11. Received 3 one on one coaching sessions each [after each module]
  12. Contracted how they can apply their new skills with their Business Partners


Ensure that the Team Coaches have sufficient competence and confidence in using ARL® Principles, processes and tools to coach their clients’ teams and provide insights about shared leadership, teamwork, consulting, coaching, project management, themselves and organization/clients – SO THAT these very same principles, processes and tools can be cascaded throughout the entire Concepcion organization and create a culture of shared leadership and high performance teamwork resulting in increased engagement, productivity and profitability.


  1. Attended and actively participated in all three program modules
  2. Actively participated in a team that will work on a current challenge project
  3. Completed between-module assignments including 4 e-learning assignments
  4. Written a reflective paper on the book, Gentle Interventions for Team Coaching: Little things that make a BIG difference, that extracts insights and new questions to explore
  5. Written an essay on “Becoming a Team Coach: My Journey”
  6. Coached any team besides their own Team and received a minimum average of 3.5 on a 5-point proficiency scale (based on an anonymous feedback survey)
  7. Passed an oral and written examination

Our Facilitators

Ernie Turner

Ernie Turner is the President and Senior Founder of LIM (Leadership in International Management), a global consulting firm focused on people and business development using Action Reflection Learning TM principles. Ernie has been an executive coach for 25 years with over 125 executives and 50 leadership teams. As the leader of LIM, he has worked on variety of change initiatives within MNCs around the world including merger integration, leadership development, team development, culture change, organizational alignment and human resource development. These organizations include AMA, American Express, Apple, AstraZeneca, AT&T, Bayer, Berlex, BMS, Coca-cola, Merc (MSD), Motorola, Prudential, Roche and Volvo.

Ernie has written numerous articles on leadership, teamwork and learning. He has also contributed to several books including Earning While Learning in Global Leadership, recounting Volvo’s 10-year experience using Action Reflection Learning principles and practices. He led a cross-functional team of AstraZeneca professionals in writing The Little Book on a Teamwork that is currently being used across AstraZeneca. Ernie and Isabel Rimanoczy, one of his partners, recently co-authored Action Reflection Learning: Solving Real Business Problems by Connecting Learning while Earning. He is a frequent conference speaker. His passions include designing complex change initiatives, coaching individuals and teams, piano, tennis, scuba and golf.  He has a new book that has just come out: Gentle Interventions: While Team Coaching: Little Things That Make a Big Difference.

Ruby is Founding President of the Leadership in Motion (LIM) Global Philippines; has over 20 years of business management experience in a multinational environment, including  5 years of International Strategic Learning and Development and OD experience. As Certified Learning Coach, she co-designs and delivers Executive Coaching, team coaching certification, leadership programs, high performing team programs using the Action Reflection Learning(ARL®). She earned her Business degree in Economics from the UP Diliman and MBA from the Ateneo De Manila and took a short post degree management course from IMD. Ruby is Past President (2015) of the International Coach Federation (ICF) Phils. Ruby is Diocesan Pastoral Spiritual companions/Counseling (PSC)  Ministry Head.  She is happily married and is a loving mother of two teenage kids.
